Better than points was born out of the experiences of Luis Lan.
In 2015, as Luis was completing college, he met his future wife who lived over 1000 miles away. Frequent flights to see her inspired him to explore credit card points, leading him deep into the world of travel rewards.
With the knowledge he attained over the years, they ended up taking a two week honeymoon in Japan all on points. His friends would constantly ask for his credit card advice and help them find flights he was always taking.
So he decided to make the service possible for other travel enthusiasts.
A service that would do all the heavy lifting for them and save them time.
That’s what Better Than Points is for.

Better than Points has taken countless international trips all across the world in business and first class. The Better Than Points team is made up of fellow travel enthusiast and credit card point experts.
Our members are predominantly in North America, run tech companies, love to travel, and the average revenue per member company is roughly $1M.
We build and activate brands through cultural insight, strategic vision, and the power of emotion across every element of its expression.
